20 Acre Wildlife Refuge in the Heart of Manuel Antonio, A Conservationist's Investment Dream

Nestled within the popular Manuel Antonio lays a truly unique conservation opportunity, a wildlife refuge which protects 20.88 acres of secondary rainforest and holds potential to be a one of a kind tourism destination. A resident biologist oversees the projects within the refuge, which currently works along side Costa Rica’s environmental ministry (MINAE). The refuge has hosted studies in cooperation with INBio (Institute of Biology), the Corcovado Foundation, the Alliance for the Mono Titi, and the Latin University of Costa Rica, inclusive of housing students within the refuge as they study its biodiversity. The refuge also has a long standing local community educational program.
Located only a couple minutes from Playa Espadilla and the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park, which is one of the most visited parks in Costa Rica, the location of this property is unbeatable. Restaurants are within walking distance, shopping and local services are within minutes from the property.
This wildlife refuge is home to almost 50% of the local species of insects, reptiles, birds, mammals, amphibians, spiders, plants, and trees, meaning it is valuable is far beyond that of a normal property.
