Ready to move in the off-the-grid farm. A peaceful life, a farm for enjoying the weekends, or a farm near your house by the beach. It has fruit trees, annuals, edible roots, a small house, wood crops, solar and generator power, and a good water well.
The farm has a gate and the whole border is planted with Amapola (a beautiful flowering plant used as a natural fence). The internal roads have proper drainage systems and most of them have gravel. The farm is mostly planted, still, 5 hectares haven't even been explored by the owner. Although the property doesn't border the big river in the area, you can still access it, a 1.6 km distance.
The house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It works with solar panels, and it includes also an electric generator for 10.000 watts, Miller brand.
It has a storage room of 9m2 (96 sq feet) and a small chicken house. The water well has approximately 2200 liters (581 gallons) of water per hour, with a gasoline pumping system of 5.7 HP.
The property is located about 11 km from the gas station, clinic, good supermarket, hardware store, etc. It is about 30 minutes drive to all services and a 40-minute drive to beautiful beaches from either Cahuita or Puerto Viejo. The atmosphere is rural with small local and foreign farmers. No big companies, no big toxic plantations around.
The road access needs a 4x4, and you need to cross a river. The last part of the road is still public but is 1.5 km of clay (without gravel). Sometimes during the year, when there is heavy rain for weeks, it is not possible to cross the river.
The farm has good wood crop trees listed below:
