Steven Tyler flew into the Liberia Airport the day after the final judging of American Idol. The Liberia Airport is just minutes away from the beaches of Guanacaste. Metallica had their Central American concert last year and they decided to fly in and out of Liberia for each concert even though they were in all different parts of Central America.
